Draw Your Boundary Lines Away From Sin

Be conscious of your surroundings and draw lines that clearly show you where not to go or what not to do that’ll defile you spiritually or cause you to sin. A lot of these we can identify, and when we do quickly draw your line and “RUN” or “FLEE” in the opposite direction from that evil or its appearance.

Numbers 34:1-2
1 The Lord said to Moses,
2 “Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries…

Remove The Filth That Surronds You And That Blocks Your Blessings

Our God is Almighty and the God of all Gods. At the speed of thought, He can make or break anything or anyone. Yet, somehow because of His awesome love, He chose to make us and bless us. However, if we don’t do what He has commanded in love or perform our own godly responsibilities, we will block our own blessings and in some instances incur curses on ourselves. Think well and hard before you decide and perform your daily actions and separate yourself from the filth of this world.

Numbers 33:55-56

55“‘But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.
56 And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.’”

Fight For Others To Be Blessed First And Your Blessings Will Come

Our God has prepared riches and pleasures untold or unseen for us. His word says that He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and another verse says He has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness. These are for certain promises for saved Christians living for God and striving for perfection. Nevertheless, God does not want us to be selfish or self-minded and forget about others who have not yet obtained that promise. Could this be why we seem unfulfilled and dissatisfied with where we are in God? Could our selfish “I want mine first” be our blessing blocker? This thought followed from reading the verse below. If we fight for the blessings of others, what we desire will come

Numbers 32:23-24

23“But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.
24 Build cities for your women and children, and pens for your flocks, but do what you have promised.”

Fight For Your Family

May God give us the strength to never rest until we fight to help our families gain their own blessings and inheritances from God. Let us sacrifice what we can to help our families.

Numbers 32:16-22

16 Then they came up to him and said, “We would like to build pens here for our livestock and cities for our women and children.
17 But we will arm ourselves for battlea and go ahead of the Israelites until we have brought them to their place. Meanwhile our women and children will live in fortified cities, for protection from the inhabitants of the land. 18 We will not return to our homes until each of the Israelites has received their inheritance.
19 We will not receive any inheritance with them on the other side of the Jordan, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan.”
20 Then Moses said to them, “If you will do this—if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle
21 and if all of you who are armed cross over the Jordan before the Lord until he has driven his enemies out before him—
22 then when the land is subdued before the Lord, you may return and be free from your obligation to the Lord and to Israel. And this land will be your possession before the Lord.

Be Very Careful Making Vows

I pray all is well with you, and I also pray you slept well and are fully rested today. If not may God’s grace and presence strengthen you for today in Jesus name, Amen.

Numbers 30:1-16 emphasizes the importance of the vows a wife or daughter makes and how her husband or Father helps confirm or nullify her vow.
Thank you Jesus that we have a Father who knows and sees our best interests and also has the power to nullify any bad vow we make. Moreso, I pray God surrounds us with Godly men, who know right from wrong and will help us by confirming or nullifying a bad vow they hear us make. Be careful and certain before you make any vows.

Proverbs 20:25 NLT
25 Don’t trap yourself by making a rash promise to God and only later counting the cost.

Deuteronomy 23:23 NIV
23 Whatever your lips utter you must be sure to do, because you made your vow freely to the LORD your God with your own mouth.

Ecclesiastical 5:2 NLT
2 Don’t make rash promises, and don’t be hasty in bringing matters before God. After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few.

The Vows We Have Made

I pray we move past our selfish motives and really truly begin to really listen to God on how we should serve and love each other, our families, church, friends and neighbors. We have made vows to God and men and may God help us keep those vows in Jesus name, Amen.

Numbers 30:1-2

1 Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel: “This is what the Lord commands:
2 When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said.

God’s Desire To Keep Us Holy, Keep Our Minds On Him and Keep Us Close To Him

Why did God request for so many offerings or sacrifices as we in Numbers 28:1-31 and Numbers 29:1-40 and some were required daily? I think it was for 3 reasons which was to keep his people holy, to help them keep their minds on Him, and then to help them to stay physically close to Him. What do you think? What do you do each day to keep God on your mind and stay close to Him since He has done the hardest part for us which is making us constantly holy in our Lord Jesus The Christ?

Praise God for His ingenuity in designing the perfect holy strategy for us and for His Love that draws us near and close to Him Hallelujaaaaaah Amen!!!

Please read Numbers 28 and 29 when you can.

What Sweet Aroma Are You Sending Up To God Daily?

Good morning, in our time, considering we do not make sacrificial lamb or grain offerings, what do we offer daily to please the Lord our God who is deserving of all praise and worship? What sweet aroma can you give to the Lord to please Him? Could it be your prayers, praise, thanks, song, or maybe even your attitude 🙂 Why not give it all or isn’t He worth it all?

Numbers 28:1-2
1 The Lord said to Moses, 2“Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Make sure that you present to me at the appointed time my food offerings, as an aroma pleasing to me.’

Who Will Take Your Place; Leave A Godly Legacy For Them

Let us thoroughly examine our lives and each moment we live going forward and carefully raise our children so that the legacy we live behind is a great and very godly one. We must be careful about this and force ourselves to be unselfish to teach them and nurture them in the path of God so they can be better than us and wise enough to maintain and increase the inheritance they receive from us. You have just this one chance to make a good and everlasting impression in this earth through your children. Make it a great one so that if and when you go to be with God, they’ll carry on your godly legacy. (In memory of My Mother Grace Onyeche Etoh (1950-2015) who loved me and my siblings so much that she lived and died leaving us a God-Legacy)

Numbers 27:15-17
15 Moses said to the Lord,
16 “May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over this community
17 to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the Lord’s people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.”

Rather Choose To Be Zealous For God

Just like there’s a blessing for being zealous for the house of God, there is a consequence for doing the opposite or living in sin. I pray you rather choose to be zealous for God in Jesus name, Amen.

Numbers 25:1-13

1 While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women,
2 who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods. The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down before these gods.
3 So Israel yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor. And the Lord’s anger burned against them.
4 The Lord said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of these people, kill them and expose them in broad daylight before the Lord, so that the Lord’s fierce anger may turn away from Israel.”
5 So Moses said to Israel’s judges, “Each of you must put to death those of your people who have yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor.”
6 Then an Israelite man brought into the camp a Midianite woman right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel while they were weeping at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
7 When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand
8 and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear into both of them, right through the Israelite man and into the woman’s stomach. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped;
9 but those who died in the plague numbered 24,000.
10 The Lord said to Moses, 11 “Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites. Since he was as zealous for my honor among them as I am, I did not put an end to them in my zeal.
12 Therefore tell him I am making my covenant of peace with him.
13 He and his descendants will have a covenant of a lasting priesthood, because he was zealous for the honor of his God and made atonement for the Israelites.”
