Pleasing God, Brings Good To Us

May God give us the strength to always do what is right and what pleases Him. In the end, it results into 2 things 1) Continuing our good fellowship with God and men and 2) The harvest of God’s promises in our lives

Deuteronomy 6:17-19
17 Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
18 Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors,
19 thrusting out all your enemies before you, as the Lord said.

Proverbs 16:7
7 When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way,
he causes their enemies to make peace with them.

Serve God Only!!!

Let our serving and devotion be to God alone. Is it possible for us to unknowingly or habitually serve other things or people more than God? Will God still be jealous if we do?

Deuteronomy 6:13-15
13 Fear the Lord your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name.
14 Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you;
15 for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land.

Never Forget God, Especially In The Good Times

I pray for us and may God help us never forget all the good and great things He has done for us. May we never allow the things God has blessed us with make us forget the giver of all good things. Don’t forget Him!

Deuteronomy 6:10-12
10 When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build,
11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,
12 be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

To Him I Give All Praise!!!

Our God and Father is not just our hiding place, He is our source.
The source of everything we are and have.
And it is in Him we live and move and have our being.
For every mountain He has moved, for the valley of the shadow of death He has walked us through,
That’s why we praise Him in the mornings, praise Him in the noon day and praise Him when the sun don’t shine. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, the name of our Lord is to be praised.
His steadfast love is never ceasing, His mercies towards us never end and through our Lord Christ Jesus, He has made us sons and daughters.

He is our bestest Daddy forever, Amen!!!
