How much compassion do you really have for those in lower estate than you? How much do you give to those in need or who are impoverished? I believe that this, in combination with obedience to God, brings these verses and promises of God to reality for us.

Deuteronomy 15:4-7
4 “There should be no poor among you, for the LORD your God will greatly bless you in the land he is giving you as a special possession.
5 You will receive this blessing if you are careful to obey all the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today.
6 The LORDyour God will bless you as he has promised. You will lend money to many nations but will never need to borrow. You will rule many nations, but they will not rule over you.

God commanded the Israelites to forgive the debt owed to fellow Israelites every 7 years. I dare to say for us, this is daily. So who owes you money? Or who has offended you and grieved you so wrongly? Free yourself up by forgiving them of all wrong/money owed to you.

Matthew 6:12
13 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Colossians 3:13
13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Deuteronomy 15:1-3
1 “At the end of every seventh year you must cancel the debts of everyone who owes you money.
2 This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the LORD’s time of release has arrived.
3 This release from debt, however, applies only to your fellow Israelites—not to the foreigners living among you.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Where would we be without you? Nowhere! If God had not formed us in your wombs, we wouldn’t even had been born. Your love and nurturing to us is truly appreciated, and your many wisdom and counsels have led us to our status in life today. If only we listened and obeyed more to y’all we would even be greater and better daughters and sons. It is evidently you, Mothers who shape and make the leaders of today and tomorrow so thank you for all you’ve done, still do today and all you’ll do tomorrow.

Genesis 22:3 “God’s throne is a single seater”.

“Inherent in my faith commitment to Christ is an expectation of undivided devotion.”

Following Christ is a full commitment to Him.

God is on the throne and only God. We can’t share the throne with other worldly things. Abraham was tested drastically by being asked to sacrifice his son. He believed in God’s promise and obeyed Him. That is a prime example of being fully surrendered to God. What or who is sitting on your single-seater throne?

“There is no such thing as partial surrender.”

Now that you know He loves you, how much do you love God in return? I dare you to love Him with all that you have and are!

Deuteronomy 13:3b-4
3 The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

That he chooses you, and will in no way judge you or condemn you. Nor will His commitment to you waver even in the evidence of our sin, frailty, disobedience, arrogance, self conceit, failures, continuous disappointment to him, inconsistencies, willful sins, unending gossips, evil talks, and on and on. Even after saying we are sorry and repent, we still return to our unfaithfulness. Yet, He chooses to stay with us and to care and provide for us hoping, praying and waiting for us to choose to be like Him. Now, this is Love! Hope you appreciate it. I hope you appreciate Him who gives this to you!

Our Lord Jesus The Christ paid for our sins, the debt we owed but could not pay off. So now, it’s “JUST IF I’D” never had the debt. The collectors, the devil, his cohorts, sin and death cannot claim me or my soul cause I’m “JUST IF I’D” 😁 Romans 5:1-2.
Now we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) over all our enemies; death, sin, the devil and all that he offers or tempts us with in this life. And it’s all because of our Lord and Savior Jesus The Christ. He fought the battle, won the war and crowned us with His own victory. He conquered all and has made us more than conquerors Hallelujah Amen!!!🙌🙏

He is Risen!

Our Lord Jesus rose so we may rise from death, sickness, despair, poverty, hatred, bitterness, animosity, malice, destruction and all forms of evil.

May God give us the strength to rise above all evil we face in our Lord Jesus name, Amen!

Deuteronomy 14:1-29 leaves me with a question that I believe applies to all of us. The question is, what are those things I am to resist or abstain from so that I maintain God’s call on my life as a priest or king, priestess or queen (Revelation 1:4-6 KJV). For the Israelites, they were asked not to eat unclean food amongst other things and asked to eat certain other foods as well as give Tithes.

So my question to you is what should you do or NOT do as a new covenant believer? How should we live our lives so we please God as well as represent Him as His priest or king, priestess or queen?

We must be grateful and rejoice because God has intentionally and specifically called us out to be His people and to proclaim how wonderful He is to others who don’t know Him. Don’t be shy or ashamed, boldly tell other about salvation. Just do it!

Deuteronomy 14:2
2 You have been set apart as holy to the LORD your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
