Who Is More Merciful, God Or Men?

Ask yourself, who shows more mercy and grace God or men? Answer is obvious, God does! Men spin up prisons while God set up cities of refuge for those who committed involuntary manslaughter. If God is more merciful, why do we appreciate Him less and give less attention to Him?

Deuteronomy 19:1-4
1 “When the LORD your God destroys the nations whose land he is giving you, you will take over their land and settle in their towns and homes.
2 Then you must set apart three cities of refuge in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
3 Survey the territory,a and divide the land the LORD your God is giving you into three districts, with one of these cities in each district. Then anyone who has killed someone can flee to one of the cities of refuge for safety.
4 “If someone kills another person unintentionally, without previous hostility, the slayer may flee to any of these cities to live in safety.

Honor And Respect God’s Prophets

Our God has instructed us to respect and honor His prophets. Are there any prophets in our time and lives today? How do we identify a real or false prophet? Is this valid and important to us today? You decide, but please read 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 and below

Deuteronomy 18:18-22
18 I will raise up a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him.
19 I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the prophet proclaims on my behalf.
20 But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’
21 “But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the LORD?’
22 If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.

God Will Displace The Wicked To Favor The Righteous

It is impossible not to shine as children of light or to be blessed by God if we live differently from the world around us. Live a godly life, and your heritage will be occupying where the wicked around you used to.

Deuteronomy 18:9, 13-14
9 “When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there…
13 But you must be blameless before the LORD your God.
14 The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the LORD your God forbids you to do such things.”

Proverbs 13:22
22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous.

Minister In The Name Of The Lord

Part of our responsibilities as priests and priestesses of God is to minister in His name i.e. to teach others about Him, share testimonies of What He has done, preach the gospel, sing and praise Him, pray for others, be a light living example for others to follow, encourage and build others up etc. So do you know some of your purpose now as His priest and priestess? Know your Father, get closer, then tell the world about Him and be light for others to see Him with

Deuteronomy 18:5
5 For the LORD your God chose the tribe of Levi out of all your tribes to minister in the LORD’s name forever.

Matthew 5:16
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Colossians 3:16
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Do Not Get To Proud Now That You Are king. Revere God!

Yes and Amen, we have been made kings and priests, queens and priestesses 😁, but let’s not let it get to our heads. God The Father made our Lord JESUS King of kings so fear, respect and honor is due to God. Let His word remind you, pls read His word, and then reverence Him as you make decisions in this life. Pls read verse below and listen to the song below

Watch “Bizzle – King Feat. H.U.R.T. (#CrownsAndCrosses OUT NOW!!!)” on YouTube

Deuteronomy 17:18-20a
18 “When he sits on the throne as king, he must copy for himself this body of instruction on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests.
19 He must always keep that copy with him and read it daily as long as he lives. That way he will learn to fear the LORD his God by obeying all the terms of these instructions and decrees.
20 This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel.

Do Not Cast Any Stones

Now here’s something we dare not do today. Our Lord Jesus The Christ has redeemed us from this and set us free. My question to you is, do you still stone folks to death in your mind because they sinned? Are you still casting stones at others, even though Christ spared you?

Deuteronomy 17:4-7
4 When you hear about it, investigate the matter thoroughly. If it is true that this detestable thing has been done in Israel,
5 then the man or woman who has committed such an evil act must be taken to the gates of the town and stoned to death.
6 But never put a person to death on the testimony of only one witness. There must always be two or three witnesses.
7 The witnesses must throw the first stones, and then all the people may join in. In this way, you will purge the evil from among you.

John 8:7
7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Glory Belongs To God, We Share In This Only Through Our Lord Jesus

It is in God that we live and move and have our being.

God gets all the glory and we get not an inch of that. Yet we share in that glory through Christ who has made us co-heirs with Himself; we are sons and daughters of God. So let’s stay humble reminding ourselves that we are nothing except for in and through Christ. And that anything we achieve or acquire is only because of our Lord Jesus who conquered all for us Hallelujaaaaaaaaah!

Acts 17:28
28 For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

Romans 8:37
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Reconnect To Your Spiritual Power Source, God!

Sometimes we burn out, get stressed out, weakened, tired, overwhelmed by life and the pressures of this world.

As a rechargeable battery or device needs to be plugged in to be restored to full strength, we need to plug into our spiritual power source, God, to regain and renew our strength.

Don’t depend on your strength, depend on God, get your strength from Him, follow His lead and use His will to guide you

2 Corinthians 12:9
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Acts 17:28
28 For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

Philippians 2:13
13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Do You Truly Love God? Prove It By Showing Your Love!

So are you sacrificing your best to God? Does God detest what you’re serving Him? If you love Him you would do your best right? Now, if you are great in that department great! Then, are you sacrificing your best to your family, brethren, friends, and neighbors? If you’re not, stop think, consider the following verses below. We should live for the Lord and that means to me doing and giving our best. Right?

Deuteronomy 17:1
1 “Never sacrifice sick or defective cattle, sheep, or goats to the LORD your God, for he detests such gifts.

1 John 4:20
20 If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?

Sacrifices, Celebrations, Festivals, True Justice

The end of Deuteronomy 15 and start of 16 talk of releasing slaves, sacrificing of lambs and celebrations and festivals to honor God respectively. The end of Deuteronomy 16, verses 18-22, God asks His people to allow true justice prevail and not to worship other gods. IS true justice prevailing? If God were to pass His judgement today, how would the scales fall in your favor?

Deuteronomy 16:18-22
18 “Appoint judges and officials for yourselves from each of your tribes in all the towns the LORD your God is giving you. They must judge the people fairly.
19 You must never twist justice or show partiality. Never accept a bribe, for bribes blind the eyes of the wise and corrupt the decisions of the godly.
20 Let true justice prevail, so you may live and occupy the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
21 “You must never set up a wooden Asherah pole beside the altar you build for the LORD your God.
22 And never set up sacred pillars for worship, for the LORD
