On previous verses, we emphasized on forgiveness, giving, compassion which we are commanded to have and give. Why?!!! So YOU may be as your Father who made you and express love and mercy to others just like HE does to YOU daily. Whoever is in need, family or neighbor or one on the streets, give to or forgive them. If God could forgive you and all your sins and go on to bless you, could you in turn do the same to and for others? Remember, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Mimic God, mimic heaven! This is the expression of OTHER = Holiness i.e. being different from the world and being like God. Do It! You’ll be a walking miracle 👍👌🙏
Deuteronomy 15:11
11 There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.
John 13:34
