Let Your Labor Of Love Never Stop

Thank God for a day to rest from all of our labors. One labor that should never take a rest is our Labor of Love.

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

So may God help us truly labor to love without quitting in Jesus name, Amen!

Blessed Or Cursed, Which Would You Rather Be?

So what would you rather be? Blessed or cursed? I think this math is easy 😁😂😃 If it helps, b comes before c so go with b for blessings 😉

Seriously though, it’d be best to live in peace knowing you’re pleasing God. So like Nike says, “Just Do It” Yes restrain from the easy, fleshly, selfish I want it now decisions and choose to honor God and he goin bless ya!

Deuteronomy 11:26-28
26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— 27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today;
28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.

Your Obedience To God, Brings You Success By God’s Hands

My brethren in Christ, you have heard or read this before or maybe even 1,000 times. It is still true today as it was before. Love God, cling to Him, obey His words and see what comes of it.

Deuteronomy 11:22-25
22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow — to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him—
23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.
24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.
25 No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

What’s On Your Mind?

So what should be on our minds? What should we carry around with us all day? What should we talk about all day and night?

Definitely not anger, irritation, bitterness, malice. And definitely not talking gossip and bad or mad words about that person or the other regardless of what they’ve done.

God’s words should be on our hearts and minds. And it is Him that all of our conversations should be about. So if you want more of God or His blessings and peace well then change your attitude, mind and words and align them to God and His word.

Deuteronomy 11:18-21
18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,
21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Why Am I Not Doing Greater Works As Our Lord Christ Jesus Said?

So, I am re-evaluating my life and choices and desperately need to live like My Lord an Savior Jesus did.

He said we can do what He did and greater so why aren’t we doing that? Are we saying Jesus lied when He said that or are we just lazy and selfish to try to live and act like Christ Jesus when He walked on this earth?
Our Lord Jesus does love us and He has given us power to live a lifestyle that pleases God. Choose to change, read to see how our Lord lived and the instructions He gave us for life. Do this and see God’s power manifest to bring blessings and healing for you and I.

John 14:12
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Worship God Alone, Serve No Idols

Please, let’s not allow anyone or thing dominate our minds and affections more than we give to God. I dare to say that that person or thing becomes and idol we worship. God don’t like that 😆 Seriously though, guard your heart and mind to ensure God is #1 and the only one you worship.

Deuteronomy 11:16-17
16 Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them. 17 Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the Lord is giving you.

God’s Work Is Finished, Our Actions Will Unlock The Blessings Prepared

All the hard work is for God, which He has already done through Christ our Lord Jesus. Remember, “It is finished…” Take Christ’s yoke which is light, Rest in God. Obey and live in Him and enjoy all the blessings He is pouring down.

10 The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.
11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.
12 It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.
13 So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul—
14 then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil.
15 I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied

John 19:30
30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Matthew 11:30
30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Hebrews 4:10
10 For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.

2 Peter 1:3
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertai unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

God Will Bless His Children And Give Them Long Life To Enjoy The Blessings

Do not worry or fear. Our God who has promised to bless us will preserve us to experience those blessings too. He will give us the strength to take our blessings and then give us long life in Jesus name, Amen. Your continued reverence of God and obedience is the key that unlocks these for you.

Deuteronomy 11:8-9
8 Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,
9 and so that you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your ancestors to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Psalm 121:7-8
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Praise, Thank And Fear God For All He Has Done

This is just a reminder to praise, thank and reverentially fear our God. Think on all the promises He has fulfilled for those before us. Think about what He has personally done for you. Is He worthy of all of our praise, thanks and reverence?

Deuteronomy 10:12-22
12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
14 To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.
15 Yet the Lord set his affection on your ancestors and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations—as it is today. 16 Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.
18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.
19 And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.
20 Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.
21 He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.
22 Your ancestors who went down into Egypt were seventy in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.
