At The Mercy Of God Or Men, Which Do You Choose?

Would you rather obey men and his laws than obey God? I for one choose to obey God. Like king David, I’d rather fall into the hands of a merciful God than into the hands of men who are not as loving or forgiving. God’s love knows no end.

Deuteronomy 12:28
28 Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.

2 Samuel 24:14
14 “I’m in a desperate situation!” David replied to Gad. “But let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great. Do not let me fall into human hands.”

For Those Who Serve And Obey God

The precursor to this blessing is that it is meant for those who serve and obey God. This is HIS word to us and HE will fulfill it to You. You have loved and sacrificed more than millions on this earth for God and Our Lord Jesus sanctified and justifies us. Now do you think God will forget or abandon you? NO, NEVER!!! Ask what you want, HE gives us the desires of our hearts! Trust God in this.

Deuteronomy 12:20
20 When the Lord your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, “I would like some meat,” then you may eat as much of it as you want.

Ezra 9:9
9 For we were slaves, but in his unfailing love our God did not abandon us in our slavery. Instead, he caused the kings of Persia to treat us favorably. He revived us so we could rebuild the Temple of our God and repair its ruins. He has given us a protective wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

Psalm 37:4
4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

What His Birth, Life, Death And Resurrection Bought Us

Sunday has come Hallelujah!

We are victorious because He is risen and seated on the right hand of God our Father and on His own throne. The enemy is under His feet and we are parts of His body which places the enemy under our feet too if we: 1. Are seated with Christ (Ephesians 2:6),
2. Live as Christ (Colossians 2:6),
3. Live in Christ (Philippians 4:7 and Ephesians 1:3),
4. Truly believe in Christ (Mark 16:15-18; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1: 27, 34)
5. Have faith in God (1 John 5:4),
6. Remain in Christ (John 15:1-26),
7. Be identified as His love ones (Romans 8:37 and Ephesians 1:13),
8. Live so that it is evident He is in us (1 John 4:4),
9. Love God so the world knows (John 14:30-31),
10. Maintain all He has given us until He returns (Luke 19:11-13),
11. Proclaim Him to the world you meet and see (1 Peter 2:9), and
12. Give testimonies of and about Christ and all He has done and does for you Revelation 12:11).

Our God Is Asking An Easy Task, Obey Him

Is God asking us to do something impossible by asking us to obey Him? Does this world have a better offer so good that we choose to resist or refuse a loving and giving God?

Deuteronomy 12:11-14
11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
12 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”
13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”
14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

Choose Life, Choose Blessings

We choose when to cross over to our promised land, we choose how we will live by the decisions we make either to believe God and obey or disbelieve Him and disobey. The choices we make will determine when we enter our own promise or if we have life or death.

Deuteronomy 12:10
10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16
15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

How He Loves Us So Much

What kind of love is this?

That God would sacrifice his only Son to save us. And more than that, both our Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit pray for us, while our Father goes before us to make sure the path in front of us is safe. Who would not want to be a part of this family?

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Isaiah 42:16
16 I will bring the blind by a way that they do not know. I will lead them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.

Serve Others With The Gift God Gave You

God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and passions to use to serve others. We have exactly what we need and what God intended for us to have to serve Him and to love others. This Christmas season and always, like Jesus did, use your gift to go about doing good and serving any you can. You have the gift, so use it and don’t sit on it.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7
4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord.
6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.
7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

Acts 10:38
38 And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
