Be One Of The Chosen, Living For God

Beloved, The Lord is consistent. When devastation or judgement comes, He separates His people and those who obey Him from those who disobey. So His people are protected from His wrath. May our LORD do same for us as we live for HIM in JESUS name, Amen!

Deuteronomy 29:21-28
21The LORD will separate them from all the tribes of Israel, to pour out on them all the curses of the covenant recorded in this Book of Instruction.
22 “Then the generations to come, both your own descendants and the foreigners who come from distant lands, will see the devastation of the land and the diseases the LORD inflicts on it.
23 They will exclaim, ‘The whole land is devastated by sulfur and salt. It is a wasteland with nothing planted and nothing growing, not even a blade of grass. It is like the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD destroyed in his intense anger.’
24 “And all the surrounding nations will ask, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land? Why was he so angry?’
25 “And the answer will be, ‘This happened because the people of the land abandoned the covenant that the LORD, the God of their ancestors, made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.
26 Instead, they turned away to serve and worship gods they had not known before, gods that were not from the LORD.
27 That is why the LORD’s anger has burned against this land, bringing down on it every curse recorded in this book.
28 In great anger and fury the LORD uprooted his people from their land and banished them to another land, where they still live today!’

Exodus 9:24-26
24 Never in all the history of Egypt had there been a storm like that, with such devastating hail and continuous lightning.
25 It left all of Egypt in ruins. The hail struck down everything in the open field—people, animals, and plants alike. Even the trees were destroyed.
26 The only place without hail was the region of Goshen, where the people of Israel lived.

Matthew 25:31-46
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.
32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.
36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?
39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’
41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.
42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.
43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’
45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’
46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

Live By Love And Not By The Law

My Beloved, please be careful not to choose to live by the old laws of God. Instead, live by faith and the grace of God in the new covenant bought by our Lord JESUS. If you live by the law, you must remember and keep every single law of the old testament instead of 2 our Lord gave in the new. If you fail to meet one of the old laws, curses like the below come.

Deuteronomy 29:19-20
19 “Those who hear the warnings of this curse should not congratulate themselves, thinking, ‘I am safe, even though I am following the desires of my own stubborn heart.’ This would lead to utter ruin!
20 The LORD will never pardon such people. Instead his anger and jealousy will burn against them. All the curses written in this book will come down on them, and the LORD will erase their names from under heaven.

Galatians 3:12
12 The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”

Galatians 4:21
21 Tell me, you who want to live under the law, do you know what the law actually says?

Mark 12:28-31
The Greatest Commandment
(Deuteronomy 6:1-19; Matthew 22:34-40)

28 Now one of the scribes had come up and heard their debate. Noticing how well Jesus had answered them, he asked Him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”
29 Jesus replied, “This is the most important: ‘Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
31The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

Let No Root Of Bitterness…

Beloved, would you prefer for bitter and poisinous fruit to be what your entire life and being produces? Here’s God’s directive to us

Deuteronomy 29:16-18
16 “You remember how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we traveled through the lands of enemy nations as we left.
17 You have seen their detestable practices and their idols made of wood, stone, silver, and gold.
18 I am making this covenant with you so that no one among you—no man, woman, clan, or tribe—will turn away from the LORD our God to worship these gods of other nations, and so that no root among you bears bitter and poisonous fruit.

Hebrews 12:15
15 Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

Your Actions And Lifestyle Affects Generations After You

Beloved, don’t be selfish. Your actions affect your children and generations to follow. Your disobedience will leave curses for generations just as your obedience brings blessings for generations. So live to be obedient to God for the sake of generations to come!

Deuteronomy 29:14-15
14 “But you are not the only ones with whom I am making this covenant with its curses.
15 I am making this covenant both with you who stand here today in the presence of the LORD our God, and also with the future generations who are not standing here today.

We Belong To God

Beloved, pause and think for a moment, the Almighty God and creator of all there is says you are HIS people. He made a promise to make us HIS people and HE kept HIS promise cause now we are HIS.

Deuteronomy 29:13
13 By entering into the covenant today, he will establish you as his people and confirm that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

1 Peter 2:9
9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

In Christ, You Will Prosper In Everything You Do

Beloved, you will prosper in “EVERYTHING” you do says our Father and God. But, it requires you obey and follow God and HIS leading throughout life.

Deuteronomy 29:9-12
9 Therefore, obey the terms of this covenant so that you will prosper in everything you do.
10 All of you—tribal leaders, elders, officers, all the men of Israel—are standing today in the presence of the LORD your God.
11 Your little ones and your wives are with you, as well as the foreigners living among you who chop your wood and carry your water.
12 You are standing here today to enter into the covenant of the LORD your God. The LORD is making this covenant, including the curses.

God Fights Our Battles For Us

Beloved, are there any who oppose you or fight against you? No need to physically fight back or revenge cause God will defeat our foes for us

Deuteronomy 29:7-8
7 “When we came here, King Sihon of Heshbon and King Og of Bashan came out to fight against us, but we defeated them.
8 We took their land and gave it to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and to the half-tribe of Manasseh as their grant of land.

1 Samuel 17:47
47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

Hebrews 10:30
30 For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people.”

Remember All Great Things God Has Done For You, Give Testimonies To Others To Build Their Faith And Encourage Them

Beloved, have you stopped to thoroughly evaluate all that God has done for you? Is it written down so you can later share how good God has been to you with others and your children? Our testimonies are powerful reminders of God’s power in our lives. Remind yourself of these testimonies so they build your confidence to face what’s ahead of you and that God always gives us victory.

Deuteronomy 29:2-6
2c Moses summoned all the Israelites and said to them, “You have seen with your own eyes everything the LORD did in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to his whole country—3 all the great tests of strength, the miraculous signs, and the amazing wonders.
4 But to this day the LORD has not given you minds that understand, nor eyes that see, nor ears that hear!
5 For forty years I led you through the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.
6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or other alcoholic drink, but he provided for you so you would know that he is the LORD your God.

Thank God We Do Not Have To Live By The Old Laws And Covenants. Our Lord JESUS Has Given Us An Easy Yoke And A Light Burden

For us in Christ, all we need do is Believe in and confess the Lord JESUS, Love God with all we have, and the love our neighbors as ourselves. Thank you Lord JESUS for making this yoke easy for us and the burden light.

Deuteronomy 29:1
1 These are the terms of the covenant the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites while they were in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant he had made with them at Mount Sinai.

Matthew 11:30
30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Mark 12:29-31
29Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. 30And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’g 31The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’h No other commandment is greater than these.”

In Christ Our Lord JESUS, We Are Made Free From All Curses

Beloved, we are truly blessed. So with all your heart and being, Thank God for blessing us who are in Christ and are saved. You may ask, what are we saved from? If you really want to know, read Deuteronomy 28:15-68. It’s a lot of curses and we will not dwell on them since in Christ we are redeemed!😁

We are saved from the curses on this earth and the 2nd death Hallelujah! In and through Christ our Lord JESUS, we have been redeemed from “ALL” curses Amen.

Romans 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Galatians 3:13
13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
